This is Jason Forrest playing his song, “War Photographer,” off of his 2005 album, Shamelessly Exciting.  Part funk, part glitch-rock, part screaming guitar solos, this song is all sorts of fun.  I tracked it down this morning after having a nostalgic moment about watching its music video in high school.

The video features viking transformers and weaponized marching bands.  It’s like a 21st century tribute to the liner notes in Zappa’s The Grand Wazoo.
